Last year Kim Jong Un showed all paternal love and care for Chongryon and Koreans in Japan and guided the movement of Koreans in Japan step by step, brightly indicating the victorious path ahead of Chongryon and the movement despite the complicated situation and the global health crisis, the letter said.

Kim Jong Un, who takes warm care of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan with fatherly love, is the guardian of the destiny of Chongryon, the savior of their lives and a benevolent teacher who guides Chongryon to become a model organization of the movement of overseas compatriots of the world, the letter stressed.

The letter vowed to go all out for the struggle to glorify the 25th Congress of Chongryon as a historic one in which a new milestone will be marked in the movement of Koreans in Japan and to implement the decisions of the congress, true to the noble idea and intention of Kim Jong Un in the meaningful New Year.

It also pledged to make a tangible contribution to the independent reunification of the country and the building of a powerful socialist country by fully inspiring the ardent patriotism and loyalty of the officials of Chongryon and other Koreans in Japan, and to fulfill the patriotic duty for the country and nation by waging proactive external activities.

It wished Kim Jong Un good health for the victorious advance and rosy future of the revolutionary cause of Juche and the patriotic cause of Chongryon.
