Success Made at Tideland Reclamation Project

| Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- Workers of the North Phyongan Provincial Tideland Reclamation General Enterprise in the DPRK, out in a drive for implementing the decisions of the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee, successfully conducted the blasting of 250,000 cubic meters of earth at Woldo Tideland under reclamation on Jan. 5. The successful blasting made a breakthrough in pushing ahead with the first-stage project for damming up District No. 1 of Woldo Tideland on a full scale by securing a huge amount of earth and rubble stones. On the same day, there was the blasting of 50,000 cubic meters of earth in Jangsong area. |
