Agit-prop Activities by Women's Union Members Get Brisk in Pyongyang

Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- Members of the women's union organizations in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, are conducting a brisk agitprop activity to inspire the enthusiasm of the working people in the city out in the implementation of the decisions made at the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Women's union members in Phyongchon and Rangnang districts launched an intensive agitation at the Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant and the East Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant to encourage their workers.

Those in Kangdong County visited Hukryong, Ryongnam and Kangdong coal mines to give art performances for their workers. They also offered the workers necessary materials and helped their work.

Women's union members in other districts and counties, too, explained the Party's new programme for socialist rural construction to agricultural workers in the fields of co-op farms and helped their work by carrying manure.

At 80-odd places, the women's union members conducted more than 200 rounds of agitprop activities at morning rush hour.
