Rodong Sinmun Calls for Successfully Carrying out This Year's Militant Tasks
Pyongyang, January 14 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun in an editorial Friday says that it is our Party's militant call to glorify this year as a year of paving an avenue toward the implementation of the 5-year plan and laying a foundation for it by further raising the revolutionary spirit displayed in last year's struggle.

All the officials, Party members and working people should crown this year with a new victory that opens up a bright prospect for the implementation of the five-year plan, by performing proud feats from the start of the new year advance, the editorial says, and goes on:

The struggle for 2022 is a do-or-die struggle that should be vigorously waged and concluded successfully without fail for the dignity of our Party and state and the overall development of socialist construction.

It is the noble intention and steadfast determination of the Party Central Committee to make the five-year plan period effective five years for bringing about the overall development of our state and substantial change in the people's life and the five years for making leaps forward in the national economy.

The on-going do-or-die struggle is a worthwhile struggle for bringing earlier happiness to us and our younger generations, not for any record in the history book or demonstration to the world.

We have the great Party which opens a broad avenue toward prosperity with powerful leadership ability, and there are faithful and strong people who dedicate themselves to the country, rallied close around the Party Central Committee.

It is the undaunted offensive spirit and proud tradition of Juche Korea to advance faster, regarding difficulties as a stepping stone despite manifold hardships.

The editorial calls upon all the people to turn out in the struggle to crown this year with fresh victory for the overall development of our-style socialism, remaining true to the demand of the revolution and the call of the country.
