Visual Agitprop Activities Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- Creative workers in the fine arts sector of the DPRK are conducting a vigorous agitprop activity through visual aids on the main fronts of socialist construction.

Out of the mind to contribute to glorifying this year as a year of great revolutionary events through revolutionary literary and art activities, they have produced over 200 pieces of art works from the beginning of January by giving full play to their creative enthusiasm.

Artists from the Mansudae Art Studio, the Korean Central Fine Arts Studio and Pyongyang University of Fine Arts launched a field agitprop campaign at the Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant, the East Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant, etc.

They donated sincerely-prepared aid materials to the workers and even worked together with them, making sketches of the innovators at work sites to encourage them striving for implementing the Party decisions.

Those artists also depicted in their works the mettle of officials and scientists of the State Academy of Sciences getting intent on the scientific researches to strengthen the independence of the national economy and improve the people's livelihood.

Making sketches showing the figures of workers at the Pyongyang Railway Bureau who guard the arteries of the country and the pilot of the national economy, they drew up notice boards strong in fighting spirit and appeal and waged mobile agitprop activities, too.
