Writing Activities Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, January 18 (KCNA) -- Enthusiasm for writing is getting high among working people in the DPRK.

Activities of mass literary groups gain momentum in different areas and units, and works for picking out those with high writing ability have been conducted.

The amateur writers in different cities and counties and at various industrial establishments are producing fresh works showing the vibrant realities.

And many people have attended the national mass literary work prize contest marking the birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star).

Meanwhile, a large number of literary works of different kinds including novel, drama, lyrics and fairy tale have been contributed by ordinary people across the country. More than 100 work pieces were contributed in the first 10-odd days of this year.

The brisk mass writing activities greatly inject vitality in the struggle of the Korean people out in the advance of this year.
