30 young people in the capital city of Pyongyang volunteered to work in difficult and labor-consuming sectors of socialist construction including coal mines and farms.

Among them are a youth league member from the Moranbong Printing Plant and a girl worker from the Aeguk Choe Jong Rak Garment Factory.

A meeting of youths in the city was held at the hall of the Pyongyang City Committee of the youth league on January 19 to congratulate the volunteers.

Earlier, youth league members of the Taehung Trading Guidance Bureau and the Central Zoo volunteered to work at the Management Office for Revolutionary Battle Sites in the Secret Camp of Mt Paektu and the Komdok Mining Complex.
