Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- Now that many people in the DPRK volunteer to work in the difficult and labor-consuming fields in hearty response to the call of the Workers' Party of Korea, a family living in Mangyongdae District, the capital city of Pyongyang, has volunteered to work in northernmost Samjiyon City. It is the family of Song Myong Sim, a teacher of the Sunhwagang Senior Middle School in Mangyongdae District. Mangyongdae District is the land of glory where the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung is located. Song Myong Sim, born in the district, has taken care of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site since she joined the children's union. It was her daily routine to clean the site with her sister every morning. In this course, she realized that it is the bounden duty of the younger generation to staunchly carry forward the lineage of Mangyongdae, the lineage of Paektu. Last August the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un highly praised the young people who volunteered to work in difficult and labor-consuming fields, met those who started with a clean slate and wished them a happy future. Inspired by the news, Song decided to work as an educator in Samjiyon City overlooking Mt Paektu and add luster to the glorious revolutionary traditions of our Party. Her sister, a worker of the Taehung Trading Guidance Bureau, too, volunteered to work at the Management Office for Revolutionary Battle Sites in the Secret Camp of Mt Paektu with a single mind to leave a trace of her life in the sacred land of revolution. Their parents Song Man Chol and Kim Jong Ok supported the determination of their two daughters and decided to go with them with a mind to help them invariably take the road of loyalty and patriotism. |
