Dealt there were practical issues of deeply studying and grasping the essence of the important letter sent by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and further strengthening the militant efficiency of the UAWK organizations in the struggle to implement the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee.

Ri Tu Song, director of a department of the WPK Central Committee, gave a lecture titled "For the participants in the Ninth Congress of the UAWK to fulfilling their responsibility and duty in the struggle to implement the decisions of the congress".

He said that the historic letter of Kim Jong Un is an immortal great programme as it clearly indicates the tasks and ways for further enhancing the role of the UAWK in accomplishing the historic cause of the rural revolution and rural prosperity in a new era, and for preparing all the union members to be patriotic agricultural workers who uphold the Party's plan for rural construction in the van.

The workshop stressed the need to take hold of the work for thoroughly establishing the monolithic leadership system of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un in the UAWK as its lifeline and intensify the work.

Explained there were tasks for unconditionally implementing the new programme for rural construction set forth by the Party Central Committee and the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the UAWK, guided by the basic idea and basic spirit of the Eighth Congress of the WPK.

The lecturer said that all the participants should be deeply aware that the decisions of the congress are the organizational intention of the whole union and the fighting goals to be carried out to the end, and have ideological readiness to prove their loyalty to the Party in the practical struggle.

He noted that the organizational and political work for implementing the decisions of the congress should be unscrupulously done so that it can be the course of ideological mobilization, operation and assignment of tasks to awaken all the agricultural workers and union members and get them exert themselves and powerfully arouse them to a bold struggle.

Stressed at the workshop was that all the participants in the congress should make a tangible contribution to pushing ahead with socialist rural construction and accelerating the overall prosperity of the state by thoroughly implementing the tasks set forth at the historic letter.

During the congress the participants toured various places of Pyongyang.

Visiting Mangyongdae, they went round the exhibits and historic mementoes displayed at the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum and President Kim Il Sung's birthplace at Mangyongdae, carrying the boundless reverence for the President who took the rough roads of countryside and field paths while dedicating his all to the happiness of the people in his lifetime.

They also visited the "Hall of Great Leaders and Their Comrades-in-Arms" of the Korean Revolution Museum.

They watched drama "Devoted Service", circus show and films.
