Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau Fulfills Monthly Plan

Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- Workers at forestry stations and prop timber stations under the Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau in the DPRK have fulfilled the first monthly plan of timber production by turning out in the general march for implementing the decisions of the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Officials of the bureau conducted scrupulous organization and command at the worksites, taking timely measures for the provision of materials and equipment.

The Hwaphyong Forestry Station carried out its monthly plan earlier than others by concentrating efforts on cutting trees and letting vehicles go close to the timber yards.

The Rangnim Forestry Station methodologically organized a socialist emulation to carry out its production schedule more than 120 percent.

Other stations, too, made innovations in timber production by ensuring the full operation of carriers every day.
