Kim Jong Un visited the then Pyongyang Baby Home and the Pyongyang Orphanage in February Juche 103 (2014) and took measures to newly built the baby home and orphanage.

He, who personally set famous sites and guided the layouts, visited the construction sites several times to make sure that they are built wonderfully.

Service personnel built them in a short span of four months, true to the noble intention of Kim Jong Un.

He, who visited the completed baby home and orphanage in October the same year, expressed satisfaction with their construction, saying that they look very nice and no other baby homes and orphanages will be as wonderful as those in Pyongyang.

Saying that every place of the baby home and orphanage provides good conditions for living, upbringing and education of children, he noted that providing these facilities is important but what is more important is to bring children up well. He gave precious instructions for increasing the responsibility and role of the nurses and kindergarteners.
