The stream flowing nonstop the year round is one of the eight famous scenes of the Sobaeksu Valley.

Originating from Lake Chon on Mt Paektu, the stream whose water is as clear as crystal is 15.1 kilometers long, and it flows past the front of the native home of Chairman Kim Jong Il in the Paektusan Secret Camp.

When visiting the stream on September 21, Juche 25 (1936), President Kim Il Sung said that the crystal-clear stream flowing non-stop all the year round reflects the strong will and pure conscience of the Korean nation.
