Grand Chorus of Komdok Mining Complex in DPRK
Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- The Komdok Mining Complex is a leading non-ferrous mineral producer of the DPRK. Every morning, one can hear songs of a grand chorus shaking the area of the complex.

This chorus is made up of 1,000-odd women. All of them are wives of the miners who are working at the complex. The chorus, formed more than 20 years ago, has inspired the miners on the way to work to an increased production with appealing songs and rhythmic movements until now.

The chorus serves as a spark and a foundation for kindling the flame of miracle and innovation in the minds of miners.

Last year, a magnificent ravine town came into being in the Komdok area thanks to the benevolent care of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Cha Kyong Ran, a conductor of the chorus, told KCNA: We moved into new houses as good as a city. It is our genuine feeling to sing loudly of this pleasure and happiness.

The activity of the chorus caused a great sensation among women's union members across the country.

Today, many women's union organizations across the country are conducting agitprop activities during rush hour to give strength and courage to the working people.
