More speeches were made in the Wednesday second-day sitting of the meeting where work in the field of construction was reviewed.

Speakers said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's letter "Let Us Lead the Development of Civilization of Our Own Style of Socialism by Waging a New Revolution in Construction" is the immortal great programme that vigorously guides us to a new revolution in construction for our great state's prosperity and development and our people's well-being.

They, reflecting the boundless reverence of all the participants in the workshop and all other people in the country, extended the highest glory and the warmest greetings to Kim Jong Un who ushered in a great golden age of construction in the country on the people-first principle with his outstanding ability and seasoned leadership and is guiding the historic cause for the overall prosperity of our state to victory.

They referred to the immortal feats of General Secretary Kim Jong Un who attached importance to the construction work in the struggle for building a powerful socialist country, saying that he clarified the great programme for Juche-oriented architecture in the new era with his gifted ideo-theoretical wisdom and indefatigable and energetic leadership, helped officials gain broad insight into construction and brought about a construction revolution.

They also noted that the Party's policy on preserving the people-first principle, Juche character, national identity and modernity in architecture has been fully applied and successes were made in training talents in the field of construction.

They recalled that the People's Army has fully demonstrated the mettle of the Party's invincible revolutionary army in lots of major construction projects, responding to the Party's call with heroic practice.

The production of cement and other building materials was boosted in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance to significantly contribute to the grand construction campaign, they noted.

The speakers stressed the need for all the officials to fulfill their responsibility and role as organizers and standard-bearers in implementing the Party's construction policy.

They expressed their resolve to further spruce up Pyongyang City and effect continued innovation in the construction revolution for ushering in a new era of radical change in the appearance of local areas to carry out the militant tasks set forth in the historic letter.

In the speeches, officials analyzed and reviewed the mistakes of defaulting on their duties in implementing the Party's policy on the construction revolution.

Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, and premier of the Cabinet, concluded the meeting of reviewing the work in the construction sector.

After the meeting, Party and state commendations were conferred on designers, officials and innovators who distinguished themselves in the construction.

Under a decree of the Standing Committee of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Order of Kim Il Sung was awarded to Jong Yong Thaek and Maeng Kyong Chan and Order of Kim Jong Il to Kil Song Ung.

The title of DPRK Labor Hero, together with Gold Medal (Hammer and Sickle) and Order of National Flag First Class went to Paek Song Un, Kim Sun Chol, Pak Song Min, Kim Sang Ryong, Song Hak and Ro Ik.

A watch bearing the august name of Chairman Kim Jong Il was conferred on Ri Chol Sam and the citation of Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, on Kim Tae Gil, Pak Jong Ryol, Kim Mu Song, Kim Kwan Su and Han Yong Nam.

Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize was awarded to Kim Kuk Chol, Pae Rim Gwang, Kim Il Hyok, Ryu Ji Song and O Yong Un and Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize to Won Hyok Chol, Kim Chung Mi, Roe Jin Song and Sin Chol Min.

The title of People's Designer went to Kim Hwa Song, the title of Merited Designer to Kim Jong Bom, Kim Song Hak, Ri Pyong Hak, Rim Kwang and Kim Jong Gwan, the title of Merited Builder to Ri Song Ho, Hyon Ki Son, Ryu Myong Do and Jong Chol, the title of Merited Truck Driver to Yun In Jin, Choe Ryong Se and Ri Yong Su, the title of Merited Technologist to Kim Chang Ho, the title of Merited Calcinations Worker to Ri Kwang Chol and the title of Merited Mechanical Engineer to Pak Kwang Thae.

Besides, Order of National Flag First Class was conferred on 20 persons, Order of Labor on 28 persons and Order of National Flag Second Class on 56 persons.

The participants in the 2nd grand workshop entered into technical course.
