Seen at the venue of the show is a photo of a stamp with the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

On display are stamps dealing with the immortal revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il who led the socialist cause of Juche to the brilliant victory, holding aloft the red flag of revolution all his life.

There are also stamps of different themes showing the proud successes made by the Korean people in the annals of the socialist construction and the reality of the country with dynamism in which a new era of the prosperity of the state was ushered in.

And exhibited are various stamps presented by philatelists.

An opening ceremony took place at the Korean Stamp Exhibition House.

Attending it were Ju Chang Il, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials and employees of the State Stamp Bureau and philatelists in Pyongyang City.
