Seen at the center of the exhibition hall is an art piece depicting Chairman Kim Jong Il standing on the top of Mt. Paektu.

On display are art pieces showing the revolutionary career and personality of the Chairman as a great man.

Also, there are art pieces on the stirring reality of the country in which the patriotic desire of the Chairman for building a powerful nation comes true.

An opening ceremony took place at the Korean Art Gallery on Wednesday.

Attending it were Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and working people in Pyongyang City.

Sung Jong Gyu, minister of Culture, made an opening address.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the exhibition hall.
