Officials and working people of the North Phyongan Provincial Tideland Reclamation General Enterprise conducted the blasting of 250,000 cubic meters of earth at Woldo Tideland under reclamation. The successful blasting made a breakthrough in finishing the first-stage project for damming up District No. 1 of Woldo Tideland ahead of schedule.

The Sunchon Limestone Mine, too, successfully carried out the blasting of 170,000 cubic meters of earth.
