Performances were given by artistes from South Hwanghae Province and Jagang Province at the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre. Those from Kangwon Province and North Hwanghae Province gave a performance at the Ponghwa Art Theatre. A performance by artistes from South Hamgyong Province and North Phyongan Province was held at the Central Youth Hall and a performance by art groups from ministries and national institutions at the People's Palace of Culture.

Through the performances, artistes of the provincial art troupes and art squads and officials and working people of the ministries and national institutions, industrial establishments and co-op farms gave an elegant artistic description of the deep reverence of all the people for the Chairman and their pride and confidence of opening up a new era of national prosperity under the guidance of the Party.

The performances vividly represented the revolutionary will of all the people to hold President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the sun of Juche forever and remain single-heartedly loyal to the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Among the audience were officials of ministries and national institutions, workers, young people and students in Pyongyang.
