The national anthem of the DPRK was solemnly played and then the performance began with mixed duet and chorus "Ode to Comrade Kim Jong Il" and orchestral music and chorus "Shine, Jong Il Peak". The program of the performance included monumental anthems, songs in praise of the Workers' Party and famous songs on the theme of patriotism.

"Our Comrade Kim Jong Il", "The General Is the Son of the Guerrillas", an immortal classic masterpiece "O Korea, I Will Add Glory to Thee" and other songs in praise of the Chairman and famous songs of the times were played to arouse the deep yearning and reverence of all the people for Kim Jong Il, the father of the nation

Through famous songs in praise of his rare and outstanding personality as a great man, the performers showed that the Korean revolution could always emerge victorious and glorious thanks to the February holiday which brought great fortune to the Korean nation.

Male quintet "People Are of a Single Mind", female chorus "Our Comrade Kim Jong Un", etc. vividly showed the pride of the Korean people led by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un translating into a brilliant reality the Chairman's patriotic desire for building a powerful country.

Instrumental music and song for sand picture "We Are the Happiest in the World", male trio and chorus "Oh Party, It's Thanks to Your Care", etc. well represented the stamina of the socialist country dynamically advancing with confidence in victory.

Pyongyang citizens appreciated the performance given by national art troupes and creators, artistes and students of art educational institutions.
