The factory and the institute serve as material and technical foundations for pushing ahead with the rural construction in real earnest with the locally available raw and other materials and for successfully resolving the scientific and technical problems arising in breeding and keeping bees.

The inaugural ceremonies took place on the spots on Feb. 14.

Present there were An Kum Chol, chief secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials in the province, working people, builders and employees of the factory and the institute.
