Present there were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang City Party Committee, officials of the Central Committee of the women's union and officials and members of the women's union in Pyongyang City.

Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the C.C., Socialist Women's Union of Korea, made a report at the meeting to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers praised the revolutionary career and feats of the Chairman who dedicated his all to the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people till the last day of his life since he took the first step of his great life in Mt Paektu.

They noted that he firmly defended the country, holding aloft the banner of Juche and socialism, and turned it into an invincible political and ideological power by successfully realizing the single-minded unity between the Party and the masses.

He was also a tender-hearted man who was thoughtful about the people's pains and shed lots of tears, and a benevolent father who loved the people and the rising generations very much, they said.

The noble patriotic desire for building a powerful country kept by Kim Jong Il, who provided eternal foundation for the bright future of the socialist country with love for the country and the people, is being translated into shining reality thanks to the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, they stressed.
