Public catering establishments in the capital city of Pyongyang served national foods.

Okryu and Chongryu restaurants, etc. were crowded with citizens enjoying the folk holiday. They served a Pyongyang cold noodle, a dish made with all five grains, a sweet rice dish, mung-bean pancake and other national foods and dishes.

Restaurants in all other parts of the country served national foods and dishes peculiar to their regions.

In the evening, people across the country including those in the capital city, Samjiyon City and Komdok area enjoyed the first full moon.
