Present at the meeting were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, Pak Ku Ho, its first vice-chairman and director of its Organization Department, its vice-chairpersons, the chairperson of the Financial Committee, the chairperson of the Central Audit Committee, members of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon and chairpersons of the headquarters of Chongryon.

He said that the meeting of headquarters chairpersons of Chongryon held in the wake of the meeting of Chongryon Central Committee was aimed at discussing the important tasks to be carried out by Chongryon headquarters chairpersons in the areas under their guidance and at making all the organizations wage an all-out onward campaign for the 25th Chongryon Congress in order to glorify the congress as the one of single-minded unity, succession and innovations, bearing in mind the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un's idea of leading Chongryon.

He stressed the need for the headquarters chairpersons to cherish the deep trust Kim Jong Un placed in Chongryon by sending a message of New Year greetings calling on it to make big strides in the comprehensive development of the movement of Koreans in Japan.

He underlined the need for Chongryon to fully discharge its honorable mission of devotedly defending Kim Jong Un and the homeland in any situation.

He called on the headquarters chairpersons to make remarkable achievements in the struggle for the 25th Chongryon Congress, remaining loyal to Kim Jong Un and awakening themselves to their important duties.
