Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Greetings from Syrian President

| Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a message of greeting from Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on February 13. The Syrian president in the message sent the warmest and heartfelt congratulations to Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the friendly Korean people on the occasion of the 80th birth anniversary of the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il, wishing the DPRK always progress, prosperity and development. He reassured his will to further strengthen the historic relations of friendship between the two countries and expand the fields of bilateral cooperation in the interests of the peoples of the two countries. |
