All the coal mines under the Ministry of Coal Industry have provided lots of preparatory cutting faces in order to carry out the task of the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee to increase the number of coal fields through a dynamic high-speed tunneling campaign.

The Tokchon Area Coal Mining Complex has tunneled thousands of meters this year.

Members of the high-speed tunneling work-teams at the Namyang, Jenam and Toksong coal mines and Sochang Youth Coal Mine secured a lot of coal beds by positively introducing advanced blasting methods.

The Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex, the Kujang Area Coal Mining Complex, the Anju Area Coal Mining Complex, etc. are providing preparatory cutting faces one after another through a brisk high-speed tunneling competition.
