Present at the symposium held at Kim Il Sung University were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Sung Chan, president of the university and minister of Higher Education under the Education Commission, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, and party and youth league officials and students of universities in Pyongyang.

Hong Hye Myong, department head at Kim Il Sung University, Rim Chol Song, a student at Kim Chaek University of Technology, and others talked about the historic significance and vitality of the work as well as the ways for steadily pushing ahead with thoroughly establishing the revolutionary world outlook among students.

Speakers stressed that the Chairman's talk to primary officials of the student organizations in the faculty of economics at Kim Il Sung University on February 22, Juche 51 (1962) "On Firmly Establishing the Revolutionary World Outlook among Students" is a classic document in which he advanced an original idea on the revolutionary world outlook for the first time in history and set forth the important guidelines for training all the university students into ardent loyalists boundlessly faithful to the Party.

They referred to the fact that the Chairman, who most perfectly personified the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung, gave clear answers with his energetic speculation and study to the essence of the revolutionary world outlook and the process of its formation and other theoretical and practical issues arising in educating and training the students in a revolutionary way.

They stressed that the undying exploits of the Chairman, who indicated the correct orientation and way for creditably training students to shoulder the future destiny of the revolution through his energetic ideo-theoretical activities, will shine forever.

They noted that under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, a steady continuity is given to the history of prioritizing and loving the youth made by the Chairman who had always valued the youth very much and nurtured them as pillars of the revolution.
