Wonsan University of Agriculture has developed and introduced an aiding programme for cultivating the right crop in the right kind of soil and in the right time, thus making progress in laying sci-tech foundations for agricultural development.

Teachers and researchers of Kim Je Won Haeju University of Agriculture have provided farms with bio-fertilizers that help facilitate the growth of crops, strengthen their resistance to harmful insects and shorten the period of their growth.

Similar sci-tech successes are witnessed at Pyongyang University of Agriculture.
