Posted on a website opened for the seminar were congratulatory messages from the Korean Association of Social Scientists and the Asian, European and Latin American regional institutes of the Juche idea and papers of Juche idea followers in Guinea, Mali, DR Congo, Benin, Senegal, Uganda, Ethiopia and Tanzania.

Present at the seminar were members of the Board of Directors of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and Juche idea followers in African countries.

Andre Lohekele Kalonda, secretary general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that the Great Leader Kim Jong Il left great exploits as a legacy and, therefore, events paying tribute to him, the Shining Star of Mt Paektu, take place on a worldwide scale every year.

The general secretary of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo said that the Juche idea which was comprehensively systemized by Leader Kim Jong Il is being widely studied and disseminated worldwide as a guiding idea of the present era, the era of independence.

Abdoulaye Diallo, secretary general of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, noted that Leader Kim Jong Il always found himself among the people and devoted himself to the people in his lifetime, adding that the people had always been kept in his mind.

Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that HE Kim Jong Il is a great master of independent politics recognized by the world and a prominent leader and the eternal sun of mankind ardently revered by all people.
