Matteo Carbonelli, secretary general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, made a keynote report at the seminar.

The reporter said that it was an expression of reverence for the Chairman to splendidly celebrate his birthday, pointing out that worldwide colorful celebrations were held to mark his 80th birth anniversary.

Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the IIJI, and other speakers praised the Chairman as a great master in ideology and theory who enriched the treasure house of human thought, a genuine people's leader and benevolent father who devoted his all to the country's prosperity and the people's happiness and a great sage for the century acknowledged by the world.

They recalled that the Chairman clarified the position and role of the leader in the revolutionary struggle in his early years, developed in depth the Juche idea as required by the times and victoriously advanced the global socialist movement by foiling the imperialists' anti-socialist moves.

They said that it is an honorable duty of the Juche idea followers to more briskly study and disseminate Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in order to build a new world independent and peaceful.
