Day of Shining Star Marked in Russia

Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- Celebrations were held by the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, the Amur and Irkutsk regional branch committees of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation and the Russian Blagobeshensk Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and seminars by the Khabarovsk Territorial Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Tynda City Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Sankt-Peterburg City Committee of the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation to mark the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

The events praised the Chairman for performing tremendous achievements before the times and revolution.

Congratulatory messages to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events.
