Officials of the Ministry of Railways have directed main efforts to organizing and commanding the transport services in a rational way and fully ensuring the freight transportation by increasing the operation rate of freight cars and reducing the stoppage time and round-trip time to the maximum at every railway bureau.

The Pyongyang Railway Bureau has established a centralized traffic control system in conformity with the increased freight traffic and organized the centralized transport in a revolutionary way.

The Kaechon Railway Bureau has carried on the freight transport based on the freight traffic and the operation of trains.

The Chongjin and Rason railway bureaus have transported lots of freights.
