Material and Technical Foundations for Production of Dairy Products Solidified

Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- The Ministry of Food Industry is solidifying material and technical foundations for the production of dairy products. The ministry puts primary efforts into laying production foundations to provide tasty dairy products on a regular basis, unaffected by objective conditions. The officials of the ministry went to every province to confirm the number of equipment necessary for establishing spray dry powdered milk production process. And relying on the experimental equipment made by Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry, the State Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Food Industry, they completed the standard designs and are pushing forward with the work to hand them over to the machine manufacturing units and powdered milk production units. They established the production process at the Fermentation Research Institute of the Academy of Food Industry, and now are meticulously organizing the work to begin the powder lactic acid bacteria production to be supplied to foodstuff factories. They are taking measures to preserve the natural milk taste and to increase the storage life. Meanwhile, they are pushing forward the work to supply quality dairy products to children under a detailed plan. |
