Present there were Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Kang Chu Ryon, its vice-chairwoman and concurrently chairwoman of the Central Standing Committee of the UDKWJ, and other members of its Central Committee.

The meeting discussed the issue of convening the 31st Congress of the UDKWJ and its tasks and measures for thoroughly implementing the decision made at the 5th Meeting of the 24th Central Committee of Chongryon on brilliantly greeting the 25th Congress of Chongryon, which will mark a new milestone in the Korean movement in Japan in the great era of Kim Jong Un, as the one of single-hearted unity, inheritance and innovation to accomplish the cause of Juche which has entered a new historic stage.

Kang Chu Ryon made a report.

She referred to the fact that the UDKWJ has conducted the work for thoroughly establishing the ideological and leadership system of Juche in the organization to carry out the decision of the 4th Meeting of the 24th Central Committee of Chongryon which embodies the main idea and main spirit of the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the work for thoroughly implementing the tasks indicated in the important congratulatory letter of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un to the Conference of Representatives of Branches of Chongryon-2020 (Third Conference of a New Heyday) in the period under review.

She also clarified the tasks for successfully greeting the 25th Congress of Chongryon and the 31st Congress of the UDKWJ.

She stressed that the members of the Central Committee of the UDKWJ should repay the benevolence and political trust bestowed by Kim Jong Un with actual results.
