The trust and expectations of the Party and people for the secretaries are great, the editorial says, and goes on:

All the secretaries of the primary Party committees should make more strenuous efforts, always mindful of the heavy mission and duty that they are responsible for the basic combat units in implementing the Party's policies at a crucial time when the overall development of Korean-style socialism is made and its absolute advantages are displayed.

They should regard it as their natural duty and the highest honor to dedicate themselves to the good of the people.

They should become the genuine party officials who find their pride and worth in serving the people and regard people's slightest inconvenience as their own.

They should become skilled designers and bold operation planners in implementing the decisions of the Party congress and the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee and establish the climate of orienting all their works toward giving substantial benefits to the state and people and contributing to the development of their units and improvement of the employees' living conditions.

Our Party firmly believes that all the primary Party committees would become the ones with strong organizational ability and fighting efficiency, which can encourage officials, Party members and other working people to implement the Party decisions and that all the secretaries of the primary Party committees would perform their heavy responsibility and noble honor as the political workers of the Party devotedly serving the people.
