Displayed at the venue of the event were photos showing the immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un during their external activities for developing the friendly relations between the DPRK and Vietnam.

Attending the event were officials of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry, the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Association, the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee and the museum in the province and the charge d'affaires ad interim and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Hanoi.

After laying a floral basket and making a bow before a photo of President Kim Il Sung meeting with President Ho Chi Minh in the section arranged for displaying the historic mementoes related to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un's visit to Vietnam, the participants looked round the section.

Then, there was a commemorative round-table talk.

The DPRK charge d'affaires ad interim referred to the historic significance of the respected General Secretary's official goodwill visit to Vietnam, saying that the Korean people have made brilliant successes in the struggle for bringing about the overall development of socialism under the wise guidance of the great Party.

Officials of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry and the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee said that Kim Jong Un's visit to Vietnam was an event to be specially recorded in the development of the friendly and cooperative relations provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung and developed by successive leaders of the two countries, adding that the agreement made by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and General Secretary Kim Jong Un represents the firm commitment of the two parties, two states and the peoples of the two countries to steadily consolidating and developing the bilateral relations. Since the historic meeting, the leaders of the two parties and the two states have positively propelled the development of the friendly relations by keeping close communication.

They expressed belief that the event would serve as an important occasion for demonstrating the traditional friendship between the two countries.

After the round-table talk, the participants toured Dong Dang Station visited by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

Meanwhile, a commemorative round-table talk was held at an art center of the National Song and Dance Theatre of Vietnam on February 25.
