The editorials say that the Korean women are blessed as they have been respected as the flower of the country, the flower of society and the flower of life under the care of the great leaders and the great Party.

They stress that there are billions of women in the world, but it is hard to find such persons as Korean women who have led a worthwhile life with high dignity, honor and pride under the loving care of the great leaders and the tender-hearted father from generation to generation.

It is the iron truth cherished by the Korean women in the protracted course of the revolution that their glorious country and dignified life and the future of their lovely children are guaranteed only when they remain faithful to the leader, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on:

The tradition of loyalty displayed by the women of the preceding generations has been creditably inherited generation after generation.

The patriotic enthusiasm of our women who are willing to live as the firm roots to prop up the country is being further demonstrated in the on-going general offensive for the overall development of Korean-style socialist construction.

Today, our women bring up their children upright and readily push them to the military service for national defence and to the difficult and labor-consuming sectors of socialist construction. Some of them become life companions of honored disabled soldiers or mothers of orphans. Such persons with admirable virtues and traits are now growing in number among the women with each passing day.

The newspapers call on all the women to more strikingly display the indomitable spirit and revolutionary stamina of the Korean women in this year's general offensive for the overall development of socialism.
