At the Mangyongdae Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District, the Pyongyang Electronic Medical Appliances Factory and the Pyongyang Paint Factory, he encouraged their officials and workers striving to glorify this meaningful year as a year of great revolutionary auspicious events and fresh victory, true to the decisions of the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee.

He stressed the need to vigorously carry out the three revolutions in the countryside for implementing the new socialist rural construction programme of the Party and meticulously organize the immediate spring farming work so as to make a breakthrough in attaining the grain and vegetable production goals for this year.

And he called for producing many medical appliances conducive to improving the quality of medical service for the people, mindful of the Party Central Committee's noble intention to turn our public health into the most popular and advanced one, and for stepping up the modernization of the paint production process.

He said that the relevant units should enhance the role of explainers of judicial affairs and conduct various forms and ways of education in law observance so as to make the masses know well the laws and regulations of the state and voluntarily abide by them.

Meanwhile, he learned about the state of judicial affairs of the Mangyongdae District People's Committee and mentioned the measures for establishing the revolutionary law-observance traits by thoroughly applying the people-first principle in the organization and guidance over the law observance and enhancing the role of the socialist law-observance guidance committee.
