Campaign for Strengthening Production Foundations of Dairy Farms Launched in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- Cities and counties of the DPRK launched a campaign for strengthening the production foundations of dairy farms.

The Cabinet let ministries and national institutions fix the number of goats and the areas for meadow according to the milk consumption of children in relevant regions and push forward with the work to confirm the locations of goat farms to be newly built.

Ministries and national institutions help cities and counties under their charge strengthen the production foundations of dairy farms.

The Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea launched a socialist emulation drive to increase the numbers of dairy cows and goats and produce more dairy products.

The State General Bureau of Design and the Stock-breeding Designing Institute under the Agricultural Commission engage in designing a model goat farm.

Ministries and national institutions dispatched officials to spots to confirm the population of children and the number of goats in relevant areas and take measures for supply of materials needed for the construction of goat farms.

The work for building modern production processes of milk powder is also underway.

A design of dairy powder production equipment completed by Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry has been distributed to all provinces.

Enthusiasm of officials of ministries and national institutions to tangibly contribute to the implementation of the Party's childcare policy grows stronger.
