More than 143,000 young people of Pyongyang city joined the night volunteers' group from the start of the construction project to accelerate the new development of the capital city construction.

They removed more than 64,000 cubic meters of earth, carried over 11,000 cubic meters of sand and arranged 10,000-odd square meters of areas.

Lots of young people from different units made it part of their daily schedule to make a bow before the mosaics portraying smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in Sadong District before starting their work.

They also displayed laudable traits of helping and leading each other forward in the construction field.

They handed foodstuff they prepared with much care to the builders and took warm care of the builders' life at break.
