Han Yong Phae, born into a poor peasant family in the dark period of the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule over Korea, came to enjoy her true dignity and rights in a new country governed by its people after the national liberation.

She distinguished herself in assisting the frontline soldiers during the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War. She dedicated herself to farming for decades.

She, still enjoying good health under the care of the Workers' Party, asks her children and grandchildren to fulfill their duty.
