The 1st national technical short course for producing new type of school uniforms was held in Phyongsong City of South Phyongan Province on Feb. 3, which was followed by dispatch of the groups of researchers and technicians from the Garment Institute under the Academy of Light Industry and the Pyongyang Municipal Garment Industry Management Bureau to give the technical short courses to different local areas early in March.

The technical short courses are underway at tens of city and county garment production units in provinces.

Those garment researchers and technicians from Pyongyang are fully displaying their high responsibility and devotion for the successful technical short courses. They have discussed practical ways for increasing the quality of school uniforms while comparing pre-produced school uniforms with samples and given practical lectures while doing cutting and sewing in person.

Officials of relevant units and technicians and workers of the garment factories are striving to increase the quality of school uniforms in concerted efforts with the members of the technical short course groups.
