Brisk is the meteorological information service for increasing the public awareness of potential crises.

The website of the State Hydro-meteorological Administration offers various services like disaster warning, meteorological data and weather forecast to help the agricultural and all other economic sectors cope with disastrous weather.

The DPRK became a member of the World Meteorological Organization in May Juche 64 (1975).
