The Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea organized a literature festival and contest involving all the writers in the capital city and provinces to inspire their creative enthusiasm.

Encouraged by this, writers found themselves at the bustling worksites for implementing the decisions of the recent Party Congress and plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee to produce the literature works that vividly represent the stirring reality.

Among the new excellent works are those giving a full description of the noble personality of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, a great man who dedicates himself to the sake of the people, and the ones on the theme of the revolutionary traditions.

Writers worked together with workers and builders at the Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant, the Jangchon Vegetable Cooperative Farm in Sadong District, the construction site for 10 000 flats in Hwasong area, the Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm under construction, etc.

Writers in North Phyongan Province, South Hwanghae Province and South Hamgyong Province dedicate their wisdom and enthusiasm to writing the literature works symbolic of the spirit of the times at major factories, enterprises, construction sites and cooperative farms in the provinces.
