The present all-out march is aimed to bring about new development of socialist construction with tangible achievements and substantial change anticipated by the people. This requires all the officials, Party members and other people to fully arm themselves with the revolutionary idea of the Party Central Committee and thoroughly embody it, the editorial says, and goes on:

The revolutionary idea and fighting guidelines of our Party become an absolute standard of all thinking and actions of the Korean revolutionaries, and they represent an all-powerful treasured sword enabling us to win greater victory by turning adversity into favorable conditions. Thanks to the scientific idea and line reflecting the requirements of the developing times and the revolutionary situation and the desire of the people most correctly and giving perfect answers to all the theoretical and practical issues arising in socialist construction, our revolution could record victory and glory in its red flag while covering an un-trodden path in its history.

Now we are faced with challenging and formidable tasks to lay a firm guarantee for accomplishing the new five-year plan and to effect tangible changes in development of the country and the quality of people's living. We have to uphold the Party's leadership in single mind, bearing the revolutionary idea of the Party Central Committee as our faith, in order to bring earlier the overall development of socialist construction with greater success and victory this year. Now is high time that all the officials, Party members and other people advanced in high spirits with redoubled courage, regarding the revolutionary idea of the Party Central Committee as an immutable truth.
