The participants analyzed and reviewed in depth their past work in the light of the main idea and spirit of the letter.

The speakers said that the important letter of the respected General Secretary is an undying great programme as it clarifies the most correct schemes and the best ways for drastically strengthening the political and ideological power, the greatest might of the Party and social system by making a fundamental turn in the work of the information field of the Party, as required by the historic stage of switching over to the comprehensive development of Korean-style socialist construction.

The speakers told about their experience in the information and publicity work, in which they trained many ardent loyalists and true patriots in the great era of Kim Jong Un by applying fresh methods and giving priority to intensifying the education in the greatness of the leaders and in fidelity in order to give steady continuity to the traditions of single mind of the Korean people who trust and follow the WPK only.

They stressed that it is the mission and duty of the information officials of the Party to instill deeper into the minds of all other officials and working people the personality of the respected General Secretary, a peerlessly great man who dedicates himself to translating into reality all dreams and ideals of the people, regarding it as the supreme principle of the Party and state activities to promote the people's wellbeing.

They also referred to the successes made by the units which have taken the lead in implementing the Party policies by firmly turning the ideological work into the pivot of their Party work and the one involving the Party committees and pushing ahead with it in order to give full play to the mentality of officials and working people.

It is the fundamental way for developing every unit to arouse the masses to an ideological campaign for implementing the Party policies, true to the instructions of the respected General Secretary that even an egg, when charged with ideology, can break a rock, they stressed.

In order to make a substantial improvement in the Party ideological work, it is necessary to build up the ranks of the Party information officials in direct charge of the information and publicity work and effectively conduct the work for enhancing their responsibility and role, they added.

They said that they have made marked progress in implementing the Party policies by making every work of the Party committees consistent with the ideological work and strongly urging all officials to proactively conduct the information and publicity work as a priority, as intended by the Party Central Committee stressing that all the Party members should be information workers and agitators.

The speakers also referred to the innovative working styles and methods they applied to effecting a great revolutionary upsurge by launching an ideological campaign with an unyielding offensive spirit.

They said that they, regarding it as the key to success in the efforts for implementing the Party policies to wage an intensive ideological campaign, always found themselves among the masses to raise the intensity of the ideological work when they faced unfavorable conditions, burdened with difficult and huge tasks, and thus helped them perform miracles and exploits ceaselessly.

They stressed that they grasped the invaluable truth that the powerful ideological work just leads to a substantial success in the implementation of the Party policies and it is amplified by the innovative and resourceful operation and revolutionary enthusiasm of the Party information officials.

Sternly analyzed and reviewed at the workshop were the tendency to formalism and failures at decisively improving the ideological work and the information and publicity work as required by the radically developing revolution.

The speakers expressed their determination to fulfill their role as the faithful spokesmen of the Party Central Committee and buglers of the revolution in focusing the inexhaustible mental strength of the masses on the building of a prosperous and powerful nation, bearing deep in mind the instructions of the respected General Secretary that the ideology-first principle is the fundamental key to tiding over the difficulties and achieving a new victory and the mode of revolution peculiar to the WPK.

The participants in the workshop entered a technical course for deeply understanding the theoretical and practical issues arising in the future ideological work.
