There was a short course on the theoretical and practical matters arising in deeply studying and understanding the essence of the important letter of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and bringing about a signal innovation in all spheres of the Party ideological work under the uplifted banner of the ideological revolution in the new era.

Its lecturers included Ri Il Hwan, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the WPK Central Committee, and educational workers of the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK.

There was a study for correctly understanding the intention of the Party Central Committee to prioritize the ideological work as the very core of the Party work and propel and reliably guarantee the victorious advance of the revolution by dint of ideology and for arming with our Party's theory of giving importance to ideology.

The workshop called for regarding it as the general orientation and target of the Party ideological work to model the entire Party and the whole society on the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's revolutionary idea.

A speaker referred to the essential content and importance of the work for modeling the entire Party and the whole society on the revolutionary idea of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who formulated the essence of the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the people-first principle through his outstanding ideo-theoretical activities and, on this basis, expounded in an overall way the theoretical and practical matters arising in building an ideal society for the people.

He gave a detailed explanation on the principles and tasks to be maintained and carried out in the Party ideological work at present.

He stressed the need to adhere to the principle of monolithic guidance system of the Party Central Committee as the lifeline in the Party ideological work and wage a resolute struggle against any action contrary to it, never overlooking such practice.

It was stressed at the workshop that the ideological education should be conducted in an offensive way to train all the members of society into genuine loyalists and ardent patriots possessed of the revolutionary idea of the Party Central Committee as their faith and main quality.

The speaker referred to the ways for intensifying the study for making the Party Central Committee's revolutionary idea one's faith and main quality.

He said that the respected General Secretary's works should be studied in a substantial way to grasp their essence and in close combination with practice to implement the Party policies.

He stressed the need to steadily intensify the five-point education with an emphasis put on the education in the revolutionary traditions and loyalty and strengthen the education through ideological education centers to train all the officials, Party members and other working people to be genuine revolutionaries remaining absolutely loyal to the leadership of the Party Central Committee.

He underlined the need to correctly inform in time and explain theoretically the ideas, lines and policies of the Party which comprehensively indicate the orientations and ways for the country's development and prosperity and stabilization and improvement of the people's living and to accelerate the development of units through a fierce campaign for carrying out the three revolutions.

He called upon the Party information officials to concentrate all rabble-rousing forces and means on the key units for developing the national economy and improving the people's living standard and launch a dynamic, steady and proper ideological campaign and wage an ideological offensive to eradicate anti- and non-socialist practices obstructive to the development of our-style socialism.

Also emphasized was an issue of fundamentally innovating styles and ways of the ideological work of the Party as required by the era of fresh progress and dynamism of our revolution.

The speaker made an analysis on the expressions of formalism appearing in the present ideological work as well as their detrimental effects, causes and lessons.

He again called on the Party information officials to make strenuous efforts to possess high qualifications and abilities purposefully and consciously, launch an intensive and steady ideological campaign for smashing formalism and fundamentally innovate the styles and ways of the rabble-rousing work as befits the buglers of revolution glorifying the great era of Kim Jong Un.

The workshop underlined the need to prioritize the motivation with visual aids and fresh methods and make the whole country pulsate with the idea of the Party Central Committee and seethe with the revolutionary spirit.

The speaker underlined the need to turn the whole country into the venue for the education in the Party policies by displaying many slogans and mottos moving and encouraging the people of the times, waging the agitprop campaign on time through posters and making various news flash boards conducive to mass education.

The speakers stressed the need for the Party information officials to go all out for accomplishing the historic cause of modeling the entire Party and the whole society on the revolutionary idea of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, bearing in mind their important responsibilities and duties assigned by the times and the revolution.

There was also a lecture on the reactionary nature and harmful consequences of the imperialists' moves for ideological and cultural poisoning.

Through the workshop, the participants kept in their minds the intention of the Party Central Committee prioritizing the ideological front and learnt the methodology for enhancing the infiltration of ideology and the effectiveness of the ideological work in line with the requirements of the revolutionary practice, the level of the people's consciousness and their changing mental state. And they exchanged their experience and lessons.

Adopted at the workshop was a letter of pledge reflecting the participants' steadfast faith and will to become standard-bearers in the ideological front who will prepare all the members of society as ardent followers, passionate supporters and creditable implementers of the revolutionary idea of the respected General Secretary, cherishing the high honor of being information officials of the WPK leading the revolution in the ideology-first principle.
