New School Year Starts in DPRK
Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- The new school year for Juche 111 (2022) has started in the DPRK.

Early on the first day of the new school year, happy pupils and students all over the country headed for their schools in new school uniforms.

They included those living at the foot of Mt Paektu and those living in areas along the demarcation line as well as those on remote islands in the sea.

Pervaded the whole country on the day was deep reverence for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who indicated the way for the revolution in education in the new century by successfully inheriting the great achievements President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il made for the Juche-based education development.

At Pyongyang Secondary School No. 1, Namsan Junior Middle School in Kaesong City and other junior and senior middle schools, students were full of resolutions to work hard to become world-level scientists and inventors.

Primary schoolers including those of Pyongyang Primary School No. 4, Sinyang Primary School in Sariwon City, Namsong Primary School in Sinuiju City and Pukmun Primary School in Kanggye City pledged to become knowledgeable, virtuous and healthy future pillars of the country.

Teaching staff and employees of schools for orphans across the country including those in Pyongyang and Wonsan cities renewed their resolve to bring up the children to be pillars upholding the country.
