Inspecting the Wonhwa Co-op Farm, the mother tree nursery, the condiment factory, etc. in the county, he gave pep talks to their officials and workers going all out for making innovations at every worksite to crown this meaningful year with great auspicious events of revolution, true to the decisions of the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Party.

He called for meticulously organizing the spring farming decisive of the success in this year's farming in line with the sci-tech requirements and improving the living environment of the rural inhabitants as early as possible by successfully pushing ahead with rural construction in conformity with the standard set by the Party. He also underlined the need to direct efforts to increasing the production of consumer goods by stepping up the remodeling and modernization of local industrial factories.

He stressed the need to properly conduct the afforestation and conservation of forests and launch a campaign for massively propagating good species of trees like Sangwon poplar in a methodological way, well aware of the noble intention of the Party Central Committee to turn the whole country into a socialist paradise with thick forests and bequeath it to posterity.
