The provincial women's union committee carried out the organizational and political work for inspiring the patriotic enthusiasm of the women's union members to do their bit in making the province, one of the agricultural hubs of the country, take the lead in agricultural production.

Amid the socialist emulation, the work for securing manure resources and sending them to the countryside has been pushed ahead with and a large amount of aid materials were prepared.

The women's union members in Haeju City, Jaeryong and Pongchon counties secured thousands of tons of good-quality organic manures in a short period and sent them to the cooperative farms.

Also sent to the farms were thousands of pieces of medium and small farm implements prepared by the women's union members in Yonan and Unryul counties.

The amount of organic manure sent by the women's union members to the cooperative farms in the province reached over 100,000 tons and the number of medium and small farm implements totaled about 70,000 pieces this year.
