A ceremony of awarding the commendations took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Thursday.

Attending it were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, and persons of merit.

Choe Ryong Hae read out a decree of the SPA Standing Committee of the DPRK.

Order of Kim Il Sung was conferred on Ri Il Nam, Tong Hun, Yun Song Chol and Kim Tong Gil.

Hong Song Sik and Ri Kwang Ho were awarded the title of DPRK Labor Hero, together with Gold Medal (Hammer and Sickle) and Order of National Flag First Class.

Watches bearing the august name of Kim Il Sung?were conferred on Pak Ryong Nam, Ri Suk Yong and Choe Chol Jin and the citation of?Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, on Kim Song Ho, Pak Kyong Sik, Kim Jong Nam, Ri Myong Jun, Ko Yong Nam, Kim Chol Nam, O Sung Nam, Pak Myong Gon, Jon Song Ryong, Jong Jun Do, Kim Jong Gon, Jang Yong Hwan, Jo Nam Ho, Ri Yong Chun, Rim Yong Mok, Han Yong Chol and Kong Myong Bok.
